Noodles Recipe « Sweet and Savory Ramen Noodles

A broke college student who is on the ramen diet, I needed more flavor so I started experimenting and made this recipe.

Sweet and Savory Ramen Noodles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles (such as Maruchan® Instant Lunch), seasoning packet discarded
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika

Cooking Directions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add ramen. Let stand until softened, about 2 minutes. Drain excess water.
  2. Mix maple syrup, cumin, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika together in a bowl. Mix in noodles using 2 forks.
